my happy ending

I do believe the Blue Fairy is the master puppeteer in this whole story. She IS the Reul Ghorm, the “Blue Star”, The great evil that even the dark one fears, the one who possibly controlled or instigated the Ogre Wars, the one who manipulated and set up everything so that Rumple is called to help Belle’s kingdom, who obviously had a history with Cora (ie why Cora used Blue’s body to trick snow); Who lied about being able to lie, who made is so that Snow would have her horrible ending, who set everything up so that she would come out on top. Through all this, The Blue Fairy has only strengthened BELIEF. If that is what helps fairies keep their magic, then belief in true love, in great evils, in overcoming hardships, in NEEDING FAIRIES TO OBTAIN THEIR HAPPY ENDINGS, will bring about more power. If that is all true, then the Blue Fairy is doing one helluva job orchestrating everything to make that happen.

She’ll sacrifice anything any anyone to get what she believes is the ultimate good: Belief in magic, and the belief that True Love is the be-all end-all of the different realms. Because she gets unlimited power and influence that way, with no one the wiser.

I see that as the biggest con in the book. And EVERYONE is falling right into her hands.

What if Pan, despite all his twisted, horrible ways, is CORRECT? That Magic is being corrupted? Blue, if she IS the Reul Ghorm, and the greatest darkness to ever step foot in FTL, has tainted magic. We just don’t see it, because she is BELIEVED IN. (which would be why Maleficent lost her wings. Blue said “I don’t believe in you”, like she did with Tinkerbell. And then Maleficent turned to dark magic to substitute her loss and protect herself and what little self respect she had left)
Blue also uses Fairy dust, which means she isn’t using her OWN magic. She’s using a pure, unadulterated, ‘good’ source. But she CAN use her own dark magic to influence pixie and fairy dust’s outcome, manipulating events, true loves, etc…
Because if the population believes that once fairy dust shows you your true love, that you fight for them no matter what, I can see that result in REAL true love. Because they learn to see past faults, and love the person for who they truly are. The belief that true love exists could be the very reason it exists in the first place. And Blue is merely exploiting this for her own ends.

She needs a “villian” for there to be fear, and trust in the fairies, and a greater NEED for them. It got her a place at Snow White’s side. It made her the “good, sweet, powerful” alternative to Maleficent’s ‘wickedness’. It allowed her to manipulate Rumpel, who everyone assumes is the greatest manipulator, and in turn, manipulate Regina.

Who forged the Dark One’s dagger? Fairy dust, and Fairies, can seem to create or ‘find’ anything and anyone they need. What would there be to stop the Reul Ghorm from finding the person who could forge that dagger and get her a powerful general to lead her ogres in a war?

She also rarely steps in to stop anything unless asked. She merely plays behind the scenes, and watches it unfold, then steps in to be the ‘hero’, who helps out those ‘brave’ enough to ask.

I call that manipulation by a master.
I will always believe that Blue is the ultimate evil in Fairy Tale Land. And I believe that it would be one of the greatest plot twists on the show if I am proven right. I just don’t think that A&E realize what a gold mine they have here, to show that the entire struggle and journey on the show was one great web of lies and puppeteer strings by the demon hiding in plain sight.

THAT would be a fitting end to OUaT’s final season. And that way, Pan, Rumpel, and Regina can get ‘redeemed’, while still having a big baddie over it all, who’s crimes are too ‘unforgivable’, and who must face all the creations she has made. All the very, very POWERFUL creations she has made, in the forms of Snow, Emma, Regina, Rumpel, Pan, Neal, Hook, and Henry.

Let’s see how she wins against the one time ‘greatest villians’ and ‘greatest heroes’ that the realms have to offer.
